Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
Welcome to Triple Triad Online (tt.dax.gg), a fan-made, browser-based version of the Triple Triad card game (the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. One account per person. Don't create multiple accounts, including to get around a ban, mute, or restriction on another account.
2. Your Account
- Your login username is permanent once chosen and can't be changed later, so pick carefully. Your display name (shown to other players) can be changed later from Settings → Account, for an in-game gold fee.
- You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, change your password immediately (Settings → Account → Change Password), which will also sign out any other active session.
- When you log in you can choose Keep me signed in. Left unticked, you're signed out when you close the browser and after 12 hours without use; ticked, you stay signed in on that device for up to 30 days since you last played. Don't tick it on a shared or public device, and log out when you're done there.
- Your email address is used only for account verification, password recovery, and important service notices. See our Privacy Policy for details.
3. Acceptable Use
To keep the Service enjoyable and fair for everyone, you agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorized third-party tools/scripts, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage in matches, trades, or the Auction House.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other players, whether in match chat, guild chat, global chat, or direct messages.
- Use usernames, display names, guild names, or chat messages containing hate speech, slurs, harassment, or content that wouldn't be appropriate for a general audience. Usernames are filtered at registration; other content is subject to moderator/administrator review.
- Repeatedly send unwanted challenges, rematch requests, trade requests, friend requests, or messages to another player, or keep contacting someone who has blocked you through other means.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or other players' accounts.
- Buy, sell, or trade accounts, or transfer in-game currency/cards for anything of real-world value.
Accounts that break these rules may be muted, banned (temporarily or permanently), or otherwise restricted at the discretion of the Service's moderators, administrators, and owner. Ban decisions and durations are not guaranteed to follow a fixed schedule and are made at our discretion based on the severity and history of the conduct involved.
4. Matches, Wagers, and In-Game Currency
- Gold, crystals, tokens, cards, and all other in-game items have no real-world monetary value and can't be exchanged, sold, or redeemed for cash, cryptocurrency, or anything outside the Service.
- Challenges, rematches, and trades only ever happen if you accept them. An incoming request shows its rules (including any wager or Trade Rule) before you decide, and simply expires if you ignore it.
- Some player-vs-player matches let you wager gold or agree to a Trade Rule (where the winner takes a card from the loser's hand). Practice matches against the AI never involve a wager or Trade Rule, regardless of difficulty or other settings chosen.
- Cards, booster packs, avatar equipment, and other Shop items are bought with in-game currency only, and the Shop's stock and prices may change over time.
- Matches you play can be watched live by other players and are kept as replays for 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Match, trade, and Auction House outcomes are final once resolved by the server. We don't reverse completed trades or match results except in cases of a confirmed server-side bug or confirmed cheating, at our discretion.
5. Guilds & Community Features
Guild leaders and officers who moderate guild content (bio, guild info, membership) are expected to follow the same Acceptable Use standards as the Service generally. We may step in on guild content the same way we would for any other user-generated content.
6. Termination & Account Deletion
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
- You can delete your own account at any time from Settings → Account. This is permanent and can't be undone. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what happens to your data when you do.
- A banned account's associated email address may be permanently blocked from registering a new account, to prevent ban evasion.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. This is a personally-run project, not a commercial operation with guaranteed uptime or support response times.
Triple Triad Online is an unofficial, non-commercial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Square Enix. The Triple Triad card game is the property of its respective owners; this project exists purely out of fondness for the original game.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and its operator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including loss of in-game progress, items, or data, none of which have real-world value in any case (see Section 4).
9. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Service's Help → Send Feedback form, or via the contact details on dax.gg.
